Hans and Teresa Zandstra are the founders of Burning Truth Africa, a ministry devoted to seeing lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.
With a deep passion for the presence of God and a calling to the nations, Hans and Teresa have spent years investing in people, preaching the Gospel, and building leaders—both in the United States and across Africa. Their mission is simple, yet powerful: to bring transformation through truth.
Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; It will not tarry.

Our Calling
What began as short-term mission trips has grown into a long-term vision to establish Transformation Centers across Africa—places where spiritual growth, practical training, and community development come together.
In regions like Migori County, Kenya, they are actively working to:
- Plant and strengthen local churches
- Train pastors and leaders
- Develop sustainable farms and economic opportunities
- Create spaces for discipleship, worship, and community impact
Their heart is not just to reach people—but to raise up leaders who will reach others
Our Journey
Hans has traveled to Kenya over a dozen times, witnessing countless lives changed—people saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, and healed. Teresa shares this same passion, standing alongside him in both vision and ministry.
Together, they are stepping out in faith to transition into full-time missions work, building a bridge between supporters in the U.S. and the growing work in Africa.
