Habakkuk 2:2-3
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; It will not tarry.
The vision of Burning Truth Ministries is to Empower the Body of Christ Throughout the Nations of Africa.
This will be done through:
- Discipleship – so the people understand who they are in Christ.
- Training those who are called to the ministry.
- Healing the sick and bring the freedom of Jesus Christ to those in spiritual bondage
- Lifting people out of poverty and giving them a path to financial freedom.
Our goal is to establish training facilities in strategic locations throughout Africa.
These centers will consist of a church where people can worship, a school of ministry where people can be trained, and a workshop to develop skills for business and agriculture.
Within the church men and women will be taught who they are in Christ. There will be discipleship in the message of Prayer, Fasting, Worship and the Word. These people will be encouraged to hear from God and discover their calling within the Body of Christ.
The School of Ministry will be a place that will train and develop the gifts and callings within those called to full-time ministry. It will be a place of intense prayer and study of God’s word. People will come to be trained for the work of the ministry and established ministers will come for a time of refreshing. People will be sent out from the School of Ministry to bring the gospel to the world around them.
There will be a workshop where people can learn about the basics of business and personal finance. This will be a place where agriculture will be taught and those in attendance will have the opportunity for hands-on work. We will use the curriculum from Busoga Farms in Uganda to begin our own Agriculture workshop. Along with agriculture, students will be taught the basics of profit and loss, budgeting and balance sheets. They will also have the opportunity to learn basic computer skills and ideas for internet – based businesses.
The implementation of this ministry first and foremost must be done by the leadership of the Holy Spirit. He will lead us to the location, the land, the people and the materials.
As each center is established it will be run by nationals. I believe God will lead us to men and women who have a passion to reach their city, their culture and their world with the gospel. These Centers will be known for miracles, signs and wonders. The sick will be healed, the maimed will be made whole and the crippled will walk again! These centers will be full of the presence and power of God!
I believe the first stage of each center is to establish a church. From within the church leaders will be appointed and the next stage will be decided. As the center grows accommodations will be made.
After much prayer and planning we have the site for our first training center!
We will be working with Bethel Family Ministries to establish this center. We have 10 acres of land, on which there is a working water well, electricity, a church building, a house and other buildings.
The next step is to use the land for agriculture. Using the curriculum from Busoga Farms we will begin the process of preparing the land, raising the livestock and planting the vegetation.
As we establish the leadership from within the church and the agricultural aspect of the project, we will begin training those who are called into ministry and develop the training center.
This will serve as a model for future transformation centers throughout Africa.
