Updates From Kenya
I’m writing this from the guest room we constructed at the Transformation Center in Nyarombo, Migori, Kenya.
The rain is ending, and Teresa and I can hear birds chirping and roosters crowing in the distance. The sun is beginning to shine through the clouds, warming the African air. It’s a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and provision.
We’ve now been in Kenya for just over three weeks.
Week One & Two: Mombasa and the Coastal Region
Our first two weeks were spent in the coastal region of Kenya, including Mombasa and the surrounding areas. This time was rich with family moments and ministry experiences.
We witnessed some of the amazing work our son, Solomon, has been doing. We visited the schools where he ministers to students and joined him on the streets for evangelism. Two of our other children also joined us, along with Lisa and Milo.
It was an unforgettable experience—one that has left a permanent mark on all of us.
We participated in about 12 services in various churches, including a couples seminar on the southern coast of Mombasa.
There is a tremendous need for biblical teaching about marriage.
In many parts of African culture, women are still viewed as less valuable than men and are often mistreated. We were able to bring the truth of God’s Word about marriage, and there was real healing among the couples who attended.
Teresa preached twice to the women and was well received, equipping and empowering them with God’s Word.
We also saw many people healed, saved, and delivered from addictions during the services. The presence of God has been so real, bringing healing, prophecy, and salvation.
Week Three: Homabay and Migori
On June 13th, we traveled to the rural areas of Homabay and now Migori. We’ve had four services so far, and we continue to witness salvations and people being filled with the Holy Ghost.
This week, we are holding a three-day conference here under the tent.
Please continue to pray for us as we minister and travel throughout Kenya. We will remain here until the end of June, after which we’ll continue to Uganda on July 1st, and then Cameroon on July 11th before returning to the U.S. on July 23rd.
