🔥 News From the Field – July 2025 Ministry Update
Hello friends,
Teresa and I have just completed 10 powerful days of ministry in Uganda. As I write this, we’re sitting at the airport in Nairobi, Kenya, preparing to board our next flight to Cameroon, Africa.
It’s hard to believe we’ve already been in Africa for nearly seven weeks! These weeks have been filled with ministry, travel, prayer, and planning—and very few rest days. But what an incredible journey it’s been so far!
🇺🇬 Revival in Uganda
After our initial weeks in Kenya, we traveled to Uganda—and were immediately struck by how open the people are to the message of the Holy Spirit. There’s a revival atmosphere in Uganda. You hear Christian music in many public places. Preaching rings out from churches at all hours. There’s a spiritual hunger we rarely see.
At the same time, traditional religions and witchcraft still hold influence—but we’ve seen firsthand how many are choosing to abandon those ways for the truth of Jesus Christ. We heard powerful testimonies from men and women who were once bound by darkness, but are now living in the freedom of the gospel.
We witnessed multiple salvations and watched people receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and begin speaking in tongues. We preached about how the Holy Spirit helps us mature in our walk with God—and the response was overwhelming. People were so eager, so hungry. I could have preached for hours and they still wanted more!
🤝 Building for the Future in Entebbe
While in Entebbe, we also spent time deepening our relationship with local pastors Godfrey and Rachel, who are building a vibrant church. Together, we’re working on a plan to launch online teaching and discipleship for their congregation.
We’ve identified a media technician and interpreter, and we plan to begin testing the system once we return to the U.S. If all goes well, we’ll install the necessary equipment and begin offering regular live and recorded teaching from the States to Uganda.
This is just one of many ways we see God expanding the vision!
🇨🇲 Next Stop: Cameroon
Now we’re headed to Cameroon with high expectations. We’ll be ministering in Douala and another nearby city, preaching in three churches and leading two pastors conferences. The pastor we’re partnering with has trained over 1,000 pastors, and many of them—especially from Baptist backgrounds—are being filled with the Holy Spirit.
We’re believing for salvations, infillings, healings, and life transformation in these final weeks of our journey.
🗺️ The Vision is Growing
Beyond this trip, God continues to stir in us the word He spoke:
“Mombasa, Kenya, and all of Africa.”
This mandate has never felt stronger. We are praying and planning toward establishing a residence in Mombasa to serve as a base for our African outreach. From there, we will continue traveling to the Transformation Center we’ve launched and into other parts of the continent as the Lord leads.
🙏 How You Can Stand With Us
As we return to the U.S., we are fully trusting God for the next steps. I know I will be back in Kenya by February 2026, and we’re seeking the Lord for guidance in between.
We are so grateful for your prayers, your encouragement, and your support.
If the Lord leads you to stand with us financially, we are praying for new monthly partners as well as one-time gifts to help us continue the work here in Africa.
